How to Achieve Healthy Skin

DID YOU KNOW...

Your SKIN is the largest organ in your body!

Here are some quick tips to keep your skin healthy:

Drink enough water. You should drink at least half your body weight in ounces of water each day. For example, if you weigh 100 pounds you should drink 50 ounces of water each day! Doing this will keep your skin hydrated and healthy.

Protect skin from the sun. Keep the suns harmful rays away by protecting skin from free radicials and environmental pollution by using a daily SPF. Doing this will also have an anti-aging result for your skin! Re-apply every 2 hours. The best SPFs should have an SPF of 15-30, antioxidants, and a physical blocker that will reflect the suns rays (such as titanium dioxide or zinc oxide).

Give your skin vitamins and nutrients from the inside and outside. Multi-vitamins, supplements, and a good diet gives your skin what it needs from the inside. However, the skin is the largest organ and the last organ nutrients reach; it is then necessary to give your skin what it needs from the outside as well. Proper home care should include skin care products with vitamins and antioxidants. Receiving monthly facials and body treatments is another form of outside skin care. Below you will find benefits of receiving regular facials.
